Windows Vista sucks..true or false?

Its true

It likes to deactivate it self then you have to call over seas to reactivate it. customers should not be treated like criminals.

It uses two times the amount of hardware power and it runs two times slower then XP. It looks like a cross between apple/Linux stolen ideas. Gaming on it is a complete wash in a sea of poo! XP does everything better then vista, there is no reason to get vista. You can do more in xp. I like microsoft products but vista is like windows ME with a new paint job. Im not going to defend vista like I see many others doing there is no cause. Keep in mind these are the same people who said windows ME would get better with updates did it? NO! vista has to many problems to be worth using...Windows Vista sucks..true or false?
true when it first came out but not anymore i would probly get a person who knows computers to install it for uWindows Vista sucks..true or false?
False. It's only the people who can't handle something new and freak out on the slightest little problem that complain. If you know how to use it Vista is a very time saving OS. Everyone looks at the bad and not the good. Well I think the good over weighs the bad in this subject.
TRUE

It looks cool, but it is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too slow.
False. If you have enough hard drive space you will be fine.
So very true - it's a slick shell on the outside with a terrible sloppy mess inside. Those that fall for the marketing are suckers.
True....

You can't reliably upgrade a non-Vista machine to Vista. It makes me wonder why on earth they made Vista upgrade editions. Also if you happen to move to Vista expect to double your RAM, upgrade your video card, and a good chunk of your software applications. Not to mention WGA still exists, your system still calls Microsoft servers every so often to make sure your being a good boy or girl......

I got so fed up I switched all of the computers in our house to Linux. I can run it on my newest dual core 2.2ghz machine w/ 2 gigs of RAM all the way down to my lowly 750mhz Pentium III laptop that maxed out at 192MB shared RAM!

My OS - $0.00

My applications - $0.00

Being paid to downgrade Vista machines to XP............. PRICELESS
Falso!
From yet another IT guy it's a nightmare. I would stay clear for another 6 month or so and the majority of secuirty holes will be fixed.
TRUE!!!! get a Mac
false
False
False. Vista has it's problems to be sure, but all versions of Windows have, and Vista has probably had comparatively fewer.

Some people blame Vista because their hardware doesn't work. News flash: Microsoft doesn't write the drivers for all the devices out there. That is the responsibility of the manufacturer. Vista has been out for over a year. If the device manufacturer hasn't written a driver for Vista by now, either a.) the device is too old, and probably not even supported anymore, or b.) the company is extremely lazy.

Some people complain about Vista's system requirements, especially RAM and hard drive space. While it is probably excessive to most people, all versions of Windows are ';bloated.'; It's been several years since the release of XP. If there had been 3 releases in between XP and Vista, no one would complain, because the requirements would have risen gradually.

Some people also complain about software compatibility. Again, Vista has been out for a while. If a program doesn't work on Vista, it is because the program is too old, and doesn't receive updates to fix it anymore. Your program will likely never work on any other version of Windows released in the future, either. I have lots of older programs that don't run well on XP, let alone Vista. What did I do? I either ran them in a compatibility, something both XP AND Vista have to provide, or I stopped using them altogether.
From an IT prospective, VERY TRUE.

1 Example:

Say you have dialup... and it isn't working... In order to get the error message (that technicians HEAVILY rely on *myself being one*) you have to go to:

Start%26gt; Connect To%26gt; Open Network and Sharing Center%26gt; Manage Network Connections%26gt; Open up the correct connection%26gt; and then dial.

Retarded Microsoft...

Get Ubuntu (it's free)
Its absolutely the best version to come out yet and those that may not think so yet is probably only because you havent yet learned how to use it properly. It is absolutely perfect for all the latest programs, and the ease and speed of its functionality is marvellous.
True

It sucks. Blue screens, resource hogging, app and hardware incompatibility, slow boot, slow running, and way too much code designed to protect the computer illiterate.

Malware and security threats should be handled only partly by the os. There are plenty of good apps out there to protect the innocent. MS has tried unsuccessfully to build a wall from all sorts of danger only to seriously compromise the efficiency of the os.
true, Windows in general sucks compared to Apple
FALSE
